The International Cell Phone Cinema Showcase  returned to the iconic Eden Hotel for its 8th year on 17 May 2026. Held concurrently with the Cannes Film Festival, the event was a very special evening celebrating excellence in cellphone cinema films by incredibly talented international filmmakers.

On the 17th of May at 9:30-5:30 pm at the Eden Hotel Theater the INTERNATIONAL CELL PHONE CINEMA SHOWCASE – CANNES will screen, in conjunction with the Marche du Film, a collection of Award Winner shorts from Mobile Phone Festivals from around the world.

As the main theme of the current Cannes Film Festival is the Environment, our Showcase - this time- features films that focus on the Environment but it is not limited to this subject.

Our International Cell Phone Cinema Showcase – a festival of mobile film festivals presents the whole spectrum of genres from narrative to documentary, animation to experimental films by anyone, as the mission of Cell Phone Cinema is the democratization of media.

Thus, the motto of our International Showcase is “Great Films in Small Packages.”
